New Kids On The Block Making A Comeback?

While the Backstreet Boys are reportedly on the verge of getting dropped from their record label and while NSYNC seems like nothing but a distant memory, the group that started it all may be back to fill the boy band void.

New Kids On The Block, the boys that gave teen girls plenty to scream about in the late 80s and early 90s sent a message to fans - via their recently revamped website - that an exciting and ground-breaking development is in the works.

Accoring to E! Online, People magazine has reported that the development is that all five New Kids (Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood) will soon be returning to the pages of teen magazines as they put back together the once-fractured group.

There has been no official word by the group but the site seems to state the obvious. As a fuzzy television set flickers on and off, different photos of the group flash by.

"They rose from the streets of Boston," the site says. "To become the biggest band in the world. They influenced a generation. They sold over 70 million albums and grossed more than one billion dollars. Five multiplatinum albums, 10 top 10 singles, five number one singles. Then they walked away from it all. Millions of fans around the world await their return. Are you ready?"

Excuse me while I interrupt my regularly scheduled credible music news postings to shriek like a possessed schoolgirl, circa 1991. Sorry. New Kids On The Block are reportedly reuniting and I’m about to bust out my NKOTB pink bedspread in celebration any second now.

Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan and Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood – in order of who was cutest, of course – are rumored to be getting back together, according to a source speaking to People magazine. I think it's sad in itself that I still remember all of their names without having to look it up.

The source says to expect an announcement within the next few weeks plus their official website, which hasn’t been running in years, is back up with just a slot to input your email address to sign up for the newsletter. And if you must ask, yes I did.

Too bad my stereo has been replaced with iTunes and my car not equipped with a cassette player, otherwise I’d be shoveling through storage for my NKOTB tapes faster than you could say “Please Don’t Go Girl.”

On dirait que je suis un peu déçue par les nomimations aux Oscars...
Mais une nomination dont je suis vraiment heureuse c'est celle d'Hal Holbrook pour Into the Wild. Déjà ce film-là il m'a fait trippé, mais le petit monsieur joué par Hal Holbrook il m'a donné les larmes aux yeux... et ceux qui me connaissent savent que ça en prends beaucoup pour me faire presque pleurer devant un film!
Si jamais c'est pas lui qui gagne. je fais une crise! lol

Moi qui croyais m'en sauver

On était rendu à la mi-janvier et je n'avais pas encore eu aucun symptômes de la grippe... I guess que j'ai couru après le trouble en frenchant à qui mieux mieux avec un gars qui avait un début de grippe lol
Maintenant je suis punie. J'ai le nez bouché, mal à la gorge et je passe du ''maudit qui fait chaud'' au '' on peut tu monter le chauffage icitte'' dans le temps de le dire...

Je jongle présentement avec 4 contrats... rien de moins.
Bon certains sont plus prenant que d'autres, mais tous sont très intéressants.

C'est ça que j'aime de l'Alberta. Il y a tellement de possibilités. Les contrats que j'ai présentement, il y en a au moins deux que je n'aurais jamais eu au Québec. Aurait probablement même pas appliquer... Alors qu'ici c'est les boss qui sont venus me chercher... C'est moi qu'on voulait.

Je ne sais pas si je dirai encore que je suis contente d'avoir de la job qui me sort par les oreilles dans quelques semaines, mais au moins vous savez pourquoi je ne suis pratiquement plus jamais sur ce blogue.

Bientôt dans une ville près de chez-vous

Après deux ans sans avoir mis les pieds au Québec, je devrais passer fair une tour en2008!
Oh oui je sais c'est un retour inespéré! ha ha ha
Je prévois être là plus ou moins une semaine alors préparez-vous déjà mentalement!

Je laisserai savoir à ceux que ça peut intéresser les dates quand elles seront connues, mais ça devrait être fin mars, début avril probablement.

Une nouvelle année

Et voilà le temps des Fêtes est fini!
J'ai résistée et ne suis pas allée au Québec et j'en suis bien contente. Mais ce n'est que partie remise que j'y serai, après un peu plus de deux ans sans y avoir mis les pieds,au printemps... Pour les intéressés, je vous laisserai savoir les dates quand elles seront fixées, mais ce sera probablement en avril.
Je suis un peu moins contente d'avoir résisté à l'envie de m'envoler ailleurs... j'avais trouvé un super deal pour la Californie, mais j'ai décidé de rester sage.
D'ailleurs sage est probablement le mot qui décrit le mieux mon temps des Fêtes... je suis rendue plate hein? ha ha ha
2008 va être une grosse année. J'espère voir un peu moins d'amis quitter l'Alberta, mais j'ai comme l'impression que l'automne sera plein de partys de départ...M'enfin on verra rendu là hein!
